The "Too Noisy App"

For those days when our students are just too excited!
This app can be displayed on a projector, tablet, computer, or any electronic device that can download an app and has a mic installed. For just 3.99, I plan on having this handy app!

The designers of the app say,"As the noise level in a classroom increases beyond an acceptable level the noise level meter dynamically indicates the level of noise, and the background graphics within the app change to reflect the noise levels."

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

This is such a great classroom piece to kick off the butterfly metamorphism lesson with my students!  I plan to read the book, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" before my students observe the process of caterpillars transforming into butterflies.

I snagged this awesome creation from indulgy.com if you want more great ideas from an experienced educator!

For those who want to know how she did it, here is how:

"Very Hungry Caterpillar Mobile

Hang 8" lanterns (1 red, 6 in two shades of green) with different lengths of fishing line. Use pipe cleaners for antennae, and construction paper for eyes and nose."
