This is such a great classroom piece to kick off the butterfly metamorphism lesson with my students! I plan to read the book, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" before my students observe the process of caterpillars transforming into butterflies.

"Very Hungry Caterpillar Mobile
Hang 8" lanterns (1 red, 6 in two shades of green) with different lengths of fishing line. Use pipe cleaners for antennae, and construction paper for eyes and nose."
